Having Fun for a Cause

The St. Cloud Area Family YMCA holds fund raising events several times during the year to help defray the expenditure of our scholarships. These events which are sponsored and supported by our local businesses and community at large, allow us the privilege of serving more area health seekers who have a proven inability to pay the full cost of a membership. Our spring event called Promenade is a wine tasting event with Grande Hors d'oeuvres and craft beer samplings. It takes place the last weekend of April or the first weekend of May. Our second event is our Annual Golf Tournament. This is a fun four-person Scrambler the last Monday in July. The teams love the lunch on the course, friendly hole and fairway games and the quick play. This event ends with a short dinner and prize presentation.

We also post our Y Open Houses here. These are fun days open to the public with free admission. Try our classes, swim a while, do a craft. We would love to have you visit and discover your Y!
