What to Expect
During your first meeting your trainer will have you fill out a Health History form, collect your measurements and body composition information and talk to you about your goals. Your trainer will then design an exercise program with your specific abilities and goals in mind.
Your trainer will help you perform the exercises correctly, efficiently and safely. During each subsequent session your progress will be monitored and changes made in order to maximize the effectiveness of your program.
TRX Training
Grab a partner or small group and experience a whole new workout! Suspension training developes functional strength, balance, flexability, and core stability simultaneously. Set up an appointment with Laurie or Courtney to learn how you can enhance your workout routine.

Personal Training
Reach specific goals with a professional personal trainer. Our trainers will develop a custom program in any area you want to improve: sports, aquatics or overall fitness. Benefit from having a certified professional at your side to ensure you receive the proper knowledge, safety, and maximum results. For YMCA members only.
Personal Training Fees
Work one-on-one with a Certified Personal Trainer to design a customized fitness program to meet your goals. Single or multiple sessions available for 30 and 60 minute appointments.
1-11 60 minute sessions $42/$47 with a lead trainer
11+ 60 minute sessions $33/$38 with a lead trainer
1-11 30 minute sessions $30/$33 with a lead trainer
11+ 30 minute sessions $23/$28 with a lead trainer
Partner Training
Work with a partner and reach your goals together! Single or multiple sessions available for 60 minute appointments.
1-10 60 minute sessions $31/$36 with a lead trainer
11+ 60 minute sessions $25/$30 with a lead trainer
Group Training
There’s nothing like being accountable to your friends. Grab a group of 3-5 of your friends and enlist the help of a YMCA Personal Trainer to reach your goals together. One or two times per week options available.
1- 60 minute session/week $32/month
2- 60 minute sessions/week $65/month

Because we want you to be successful in safely meeting your fitness goals, the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA takes staff training and certifications seriously. All staff hold national certifications and either have a degree in a health/fitness related field or are working toward said degree. Our qualified staff is available to assist you with your fitness goals.
