7:30am-6:00pm  (Extended care available starting at 7:00am, and going to 6:30pm)

Cost:

$95.00 / week for YMCA Members
$115.00 / week for non members
$10.00 for extended care


Weekly Themes,  Learning in the YMCA Garden, Fun Games and Activities, DAILY SWIMMING, Arts and Crafts, and much much more!

We strive to create a place where safe, value-based programming is led by caring and experienced staff. A place that is fun, yet emphasizes caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. What makes this camp unique is that your child will learn about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle in a fun and relationship-based environment.  It’s my sincere hope that at the end of your camper’s experience they will return home with stories, friends and excitement, realizing that they can make this world a better place!

Greetings Campers and Parents!

Thank you for considering the YMCA for the place to spend your School Breaks!  We strive to create a place where safe, value-based programming is led by caring staff.  A place that is fun, yet emphasizes caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.  A place where children can play together and make friends without labels or prejudices.

Camp C.H.A.D. (Children: Healthy & Active Daily) is a day camp at the St. Cloud YMCA held when ISD742 is not in session (school closings).  It will be filled with age appropriate activities and will include: 

Relationship-Building Fun Games; Obstacle Courses; Climbing Wall; Arts & Crafts; Sports Skills; and Active Health & Nutrition Education.

CAMP FACTS PARENTS NEED TO KNOW:
Financial Assistance is available to those who qualify.Financial assistance applications are available at Y or here.

SAFETY & QUALIFIED STAFF
are a priority. All camp staff are First Aid/CPR certified. The YMCA completes the Minnesota Bureau of Investigation background checkand reference checks on all camp staff.  A staff to child ratio of 1:15 is maintained to assure individual attention and proper supervision.

The Spirit of the Northwoods is the essence of Camp Olson. The Spirit is alive, not only in the activities, songs, and laughter that fill our days, but in the peaceful reverie of campers who, for the first time, behold the Milky Way splashed across the night sky. It is the community of youth, families, and leaders from across the globe that grows each summer and comes together to share in fun, fellowship, adventure, and spiritual growth. It is the respect and reverence for the environment that is instilled in all who experience Camp Olson through instruction and a direct experience with nature.
